Lincecum is MLB’s best pitcher (my opinion)

Howdy! Happy Lincecum day to my fellow SF Giant fans! 😉 The Giants have been playing exceptionally well especially in this homestand against two tough NL teams, the Cards (whom the Giants beat 2 out of 3 last weekend, and they are about to sweep the Phillies today. I think they have a great chance since Tim Lincecum is on the mound. He is 4.0 and his ERA is 1.00, hopefully he’ll totally forget about last years game against Pedro Martinez. Hopefully he won’t give up any runs so his era can be under 1 after today’s game.  He’s competing with Jimenez from Colorado who is 5-0 with an era 0.79.  Overall the Giants have been a success this year mostly pitching wise.  They need offense help but lately they’ve been scoring more runs like they should be doing.  It looks like Nate Schierholtz has won the right field spot, John Bowker hasn’t been hitting well like they thought he was.  I like Bowker, i hope he can at least stay on the squad for pitch hitting, etc.  I think he may go down to Fresno after Rowand returns. Me and a thousand other people want to bring up Buster Posey.  I hope he comes up on June 1st, i think that is after the arbitration deal.  I am not sure i need someone to help me understand that part. lol I think he can do a lot for the team offensively & he had a great spring training and is tearing it up in Fresno.  Its almost time for the Giants vs Phillies game! later..
